Our Franco-Moroccan central defender, Ismaël Kandouss, extends his 2-year contract at Union Saint-Gillloise. Following Anthony Moris, Kandouss also remains loyal to the Unionists and will remain at Parc Duden until 2024.
Kandouss began his youth training in Villeneuve-d’Ascq Métropole in northern France, where he joined USL Dunkerque via ES Wasquehal. In 2015 he joined Arras Football for a season and in the summer of 2016, Kandouss returned to USL Dunkerque, where he got his chance to play in the first team in 2018.
In January 2019, our central defender crossed over the border to Union Saint-Gilloise, where he has since scored four goals and won as champions in 1B in 2020-2021. Since his arrival, he has played 105 games for our Unionists.
Today, Kandouss renewed his contract until 2024.
Good luck Isma!
