International break March 2023
Union SG have nine internationals for this international break. Besides our seasoned internationals like Teddy Teuma, Anthony Moris and Loïc Lapoussin, Koki Machida, and Simon Adingra will represent the colors of their country for the first time. Oussama El Azzouzi, Yorbe Vertessen, Arnaud Dony, Casper Terho are our young internationals.
Captain Teddy Teuma starts qualifying for EURO 2024 with Malta against North Macedonia (23/03) and Italy (26/03).
Anthony Moris faces Slovakia (23/03) and Portugal (26/03) with Luxembourg in the same qualifying round for the European Championship.
Loïc Lapoussin and Madagascar are looking to carry on participating in the African Cup of Nations during their back-to-back fixtures (23/03 and 27/03) with the Central African Republic.
For Simon Adingra, this will be his very first call-up for the Ivory Coast national team. Adingra and his compatriots will face Comoros on March 24th and 28th, another back-to-back fixture.
And another first for Koki Machida! Our Japanese defender was called up for the first time as an international A for his country. Koki and Japan participate in the Kirin Cup, alongside Uruguay (24/03) and Colombia (28/03).
Our young internationals are Arnaud Dony (Belgium U19), Yorbe Vertessen (Belgium U21), Casper Terho (Finland U21), and Oussama El Azzouzi (Morocco U23).
